YS: Leche Flan

Leche Flan- a family favorite

Ingredients

12 egg yolk
2 whole eggs
11/2 cup condense milk
3/4 c. homo milk
1 can evaporated milk
1/4 c.white sugar
1 tbsp.vanilla
11/2 c. brown sugar

Mix all 7 ingredients.
Raramilezed sugar on the molded tin
until its golden brown
pour the mixtures and Bake for 30-45 min. w/ cover
put them in the middle rack oven

Yellow Lab

I love dogs though am allergic to their fur and their dander. We used to have a Labrador like this which was on loan to us by my husband's cousin who breeds dogs of all kinds. I hope one day after we go home to our province we will have another dog to play with. This Yellow Lab is really lovable right?

Yummy Sunday for Health

Today, I want to share to you a healthy recipe that would make our body glowing. Enzyme rich! Try it for fresh glowing skin.

Raw Food "Burrito" Recipe

Ingredients:

· 2 very ripe avocados

· 3 tomatoes, diced

· 1/2 jalapeno pepper, diced

· 2 tbsp yellow onion, diced

· 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced

· 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

· kernels from one ear raw corn

· 2 tsp fresh lime juice

· 6-8 large lettuce leaves

Preparation:

In a medium sized bowl, mash the avocado. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed. Spread 2-3 tablespoons of this mixture onto lettuce leaves and wrap. Enjoy!

HEALTHY CHOCO SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

• 2 cups chocolate soy milk
• 1 cup orange juice
• 1 large banana
• 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
• 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Preparation:

Place delicious ingredients in blender and mix for 1 minute on high.

Pour into tall juice or beer glasses and guzzle with pleasure.

The Lord is the Greatest!

Lord, you are the Greatest that ever happened in my life and for this I am eternally thankful.

My life this week was really full. This is exam week and me, my husband and my classmates are really cracking our internal combustion to study harder, finished the requirements on time and do additional take home case studies. And GOD has really sustained me this far and I know He will always be there. I am thankful this week for:

1. Both two children receiving Outstanding and Achievers Awards in Academics and Curricular Activities yesterday.....Yehheeyyy. I cannot ask for more. Whewwww...I rarely had a hand in their studies nowadays, with me and my husband also studying and getting a grip on everything that's happening in our life.

2. An extra income coming from blogs, and whatever I can do to really help meet our needs.

3. A new found friend, Racquel, she visited us this morning and brought some fresh bounties from her garden......big...big....hugs...Racquel...God has blessed you always and will always open His doors for your generous heart.

4. A free bone scanning, initiated by the College of Health yesterday. My results says, I have pre-Osteopenia....oh my...I have to exercise, exercise and exercise to bring it back to normal. Exercise is proven to be beneficial to bone lose, osteoporosis and over all mental health.

5. A mission project that is 80% done....we did a family fund raising this year to buy a motorboat, so our missionary friends assigned in a very remote island villages can have water transport and continue the mission fields program, we helped started. God is Great All The Time.

5. All friends in the blogsphere.....let's exercise now....and make ourselves more beautiful, positive, and energetic to serve the Lord.

Thankful Thursday: So Much to be Thankful!

There is so much in which to be thankful, there are gifts so abundant each day, so we thank Thee dear Lord for Thy mercy..........Thankful for:

A seminar we attended for Advanced Statistics, the lecturer made it look so simple and really enjoyable.

Our friend graduated from his Doctor in Ministry degree...Congratulations Dr. Don Generato and family. We celebrated his graduation with a potluck with long time friends.

Great women from our church who actively participated in all programs: outreach, feeding, medical-dental, prison ministry, hospital ministry, children's ministry, song ministry, choir, etc....we enjoyed the activities so much and every woman was awarded for each of their contribution and effort. Each one received gifts and a pot of orchid in full bloom. Happy International Womens Day, this is what we call real "Girl Power," we ended the celebration with a big luncheon potluck. I love you all and I enjoy being there.

Bloggy friends around the universe.....we rock girls, gals, pals, honey, sweetheart, darling, we are fabulous in God's eyes, we really are. I love you all!

Don't Take Risk!

Oooopsss!......I almost forgot the date. My, my, my, see how time rolls. I have to do this obligation or I will be in, in a most surprising situation. My car agent actually reminded me today of my car insurance renewal. This will be due within two weeks and I haven't placed my schedule with my friend. However, he also reminded me that I have to choose another insurance company this time, a new one at that. Okey...I have to read the brochure of the insurance center options he has sent me. I have found one just this minute. It has facts on car insurance quotes that would help me decide for the best option to choose from.

Hey! it says, I can beat the rate increase predicted accordingly by the Insurance Information Institute. As of information provided I have to make sure to check if the insurer offers a 6-month or 12-month payment plan to help me manage my auto insurance payments better. Well, what I found with the brochure of this car insurance is that they really provided me with information that counts.

The brochure also mentioned, that it offers an auto insurance comparison application that would guide me to evaluate multiple rates from best auto insurance coverage for my budget. This is the hottest deal I found today. Oh...yes...got to choose this one. And I just cannot shut my mouth, I have to share this with friends today. Hop in, don't take the risk, let's take this deal fast and do it now!

Unique Finds, Come and Get One!

My sister just phoned two days ago and shared the news that she met someone special. Hahha!, that kind of news, took off the conversation to a new level. We talked about things and stuffs, and came down to how my kids are doing. She told me, by the way that's she's sending gifts for my kids for summer vacation.Our summer vacation from this tropical place I love, starts April so we have to be ready for things my kids will most need so they will really enjoy this summer actions.

She reminded me that my daughter and son will be receiving personalized backpack she will order from this boutique. My sister also told me that if any of my friends want to order things like these she can help them do the ordering or they can visit their cool website. She also mentioned that this boutique specialized in personalized gifts for women, kids and other gifts for important events. One can even order their embroider-able items that could be a unique addition to my backpack collections.

For my son, she would be gifting him with a nap mat and a stephen joseph backpack found from the same boutique.My kids are so excited about these coming gifts so they can be ready for summer actions. Well, am waiting for my share because she said she's trying to figure out what cool summer stuffs she could send me....but she said, I have to wait and see because it's going to be a surprise.Wheew....this is going to be one hot summer vacation with cool things to show off. Some more of it sister, you're a God send!

This is what you call, the "Orchid Chair," beautiful isn't it? I love to have one like this in my personal nook...this would be a great conversation piece with friends visiting soon. Wow, this would just be on time for summer visitors. I hope i can find one fast this week!

Thankful Thursday

This week was full of surprises and we thank the Lord for all the surprises he provided us. The most exciting one and we are thankful of it was...

Fourteen former students who graduated from our College drop by the house for a surprise visit. We were really tongue tied when my husband opened the door and lo....who do you see.... 14 of them.....shrieking at our door and greeting us a happy afternoon....whoaaaaaa......surprise...big surprise....we were hugging, hand shaking, shoulder tapping and really laughing. We were curious how they knew we are in this place, (we are upgrading from a university now, with contract of three years). They chorus that they asked from those who knew us. Wow....we had fun, the talked went from their college experiences and the work they have now. Majority of them are nurses, some are teachers, one has started a business in health products, another one is going to New Zealand two weeks from now, one is enrolled in a graduate program. Our previous house was home to all students, we welcome them as if they are our children and now they have come home again....I was teary eyed when they each bade goodbye...another round of hugs....embraces.....of my I missed our former students now mature professionals working in different companies, mission field, trying to carve a life meant for service to the Lord. They remembered, dropped by to say how we are doing.....and we really missed them. Thank you Lord for, friendships and relationships formed with these young people. Our only dream is for each one of them to be strong in their faith always and serve the Lord.
